Last year I had the awesome opportunity to travel around Scandinavia with a good friend of mine. We started our journey in Oslo Norway. The streets are clean, the air is crisp and clear.
One of the first things we saw was the Oslo Opera House, home of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. The White granite and marble seem to rise from the sea at the head of the Oslofjord like an iceberg. Its a truly incredible building.
The opera house looks over the Oslofjord and the incredible She Lies (Hun Ligger) scuplture in the water below. The sculpture, made of steel and glass juts from the sea.
We went back to the Opera house that night to get some long exposure shots.
The next day we hired a boat and went went around the fjords. The Norwegian landscape is breathtaking.
Unfortunately we only had two days in Oslo, I could have easily spent a few more days there just exploring the city and taking photos but we had train to catch early the next morning to take us to Sweden.
